Mortal Kombat fans finally got the best gift of the Mortal Kombat 2021 movie by Warner Bros. According to the trailer the movie seems to be fully R-rated and has added to the long line of movies and TV shows based on the Mortal Kombat video games. The movie is directed by Simon McQuoid who has a sentiment for the movie since the year 2016.
The poster of the movie is also out but the details are not too much at the moment. Though it might seem like the movie has something to do with the usual rivals Scorpion and Sub-Zero and will focus on the notion of saving the world from Shao Kahn, Shang Tsung and other characters front different realms. Lewis Tan (Cole Young)
Lewis Tan portrays Cole Young a Mixed Martial Arts fighter who has the mark of the chosen warriors since birth. He is the son of one of the most famous martial arts choreographers, actor and stuntman Philip Tan and is the main character in the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie.
Josh Lawson (Kano)
The Australian actor Josh Lawson is going to portray Kano in the new Mortal Kombat movie. He has been doing different other characters like Doug Guggenheim in the sitcom House of Lies and also starred as Kench Allenby in Anchorman 2: The Legends Continues. Apart from that, he has played different roles in movies like The Little Death, Becoming Bond, Superstore and Hoges: The Paul Hogan Story. Joe Taslim (Bi-Han / Sub-Zero)

The character of Sub-Zero is portrayed by Joe Taslim who has the ability to control ice and other related elements. Joe who is an Indonesian martial artist and actor is known to have appeared in Fast & Furious 6, The Raid: Redemption, Warrior, Star Trek and many other movies as well. We can expect Joe to be the best depiction of the King of Cold in the 2021’s Mortal Kombat movie.
Jessica McNamee (Sonya Blade)
In the current Mortal Kombat movie, Sonya Blade appears to be a mature woman played by Jessica McNamee. The character is the evolved version of the young Sonya Blade as seen in the original Mortal Kombat movie played by Bridgette Wilson. Well, the current Sonya Blade has the looks of the current Mortal Kombat game character as well. Chin Han (Shang Tsung)

The character portrayed by Chin suits best for a cold and evil shape-shifter and one of the most trusted minions of Shao Kahn.
Tadanobu Asano (Raiden)
The God of Thunder in the 2021 Mortal Kombat movie is portrayed by actor and fashion model Tadanobu Asano. In the movie, he can be seen raining Thunder on Shang Tsung and his henchmen and training Cole to participate in the forces of evil. In the movie, he can be seen providing sanctuary to the ones who have the mark Cole has.
Hiroyuki Sanada (Hanzo Hasashi / Scorpion)
Another strong cast member of the Mortal Kombat movie features Hiroyuki Sanada as the Scorpion. The Japanese actor is known for his outstanding performance in Tenchi: The Samurai Astronomer, The Wolverine, The Last Samurai, The Twilight Samurai, 47 Ronin, Mr. Holmes, Avengers: Endgame, Westworld and many other movies and shows. The character seems to have very well aligned with the character where the character had a very young appearance in the game and the previous Mortal Kombat movies.
